Neither
a lapper nor a kneeler. Somtimes by choice,
sometimes by circumstance, we find ourselves
in the 'None of the Above' category. Almost
every form or survey has a 'None of the
Above' box. We check that box when the
standard responses or categories just don't
apply. And when we check that box we are
almost always obligated to explain WHY. It
simply won't suffice to say we are
different, and leave it at that. There are
times as Christians we will check the 'None
of the Above' box through our example,
opinions, or beliefs. And when we check that
box people will notice and ask us to give a
word of explanation. Realize that their
curiousity may not be criticism. The hope we
have transforms our lives and makes us
different. So don't be afraid to check 'None
of the Above', but be prepared to give an
answer for the hope that you have.
